Handcrafted wax ornaments are an ancient European tradition, dating from a time before glass and tinsel. Farmers would pour the last of their candlewax into molds carved for the holiday season, bringing inside the smells and warmth of Nature.

Holle, white Goddess of the Winter Solstice, survives today as Frau Holle, the lady who brings the snow in Germany by shaking out her feather beds and pillows.

The beeswax Holly shoulder scarf is a symbol of immortality; when all else around has died to winter, Holly remains fresh and green.
